You also need to have visible hair that’s long enough to grab onto with the tweezers.
Another popular approach is depilatories or hair removal creams. No pain here. Such products give you decent enough short-term relief. Results may be somewhat hit and miss however. And the chemicals involved can wreck havoc on the skin of some. (If it’s your first time to use creams test it on the back of your hand just to be sure your skin doesn’t have any reaction.) And then there’s the smell of some plus the fact you hair may come back with a vengeance both coarser and darker. But you do get a hair free look that lasts for several days.
Electrolysis will leave you hairless forever. Sound too good to be true? Actually the needle sends electric current to the hair follicle and zaps it. So if you have some very ‘hairy’ problem you want taken care of this technique may be for you. Just remember that to be totally and eternally hairless you have to pay the price of admission both in time and money.
Aside from electrolysis, laser hair removal is said to be a semi-permanent way to go hairless. Instead of using a highly charged needle this process uses pulses of laser light. The light energy targets the dark melanin of each follicle and fries it causing the hair to fall out. If and when the hair grows back it will be finer. Like electrolysis each session carries with it an hefty price tag. And you will need multiple sessions to get it just right.
